Love Till The Last Sight

They had been seeing each other for weeks now. Each day when they met, they would meet something new in each other. She was always worried what would the world say. Definitely try to shame them when they came to know about it. And why not? It was not their age to fall in love. But his company delighted her so much that she would forget all her sorrows, and he, his.

They would talk for hours in the park. After all, nobody was really there to worry about them or care for them. The two only had each other, and since the time they had met, that seemed to be enough.

She would often worry about the way she looked (not that he was handsome either). But that had ceased to matter to him the day she entered his life. His whole being felt revitalized, as if no extra vitamin supplements were needed. He would be chirpy like a bird, rediscovering the self he had lost in the sands of time.

Today, they met to discuss their future. However much of it was left, they decided to spend it together. They would love each other till their last sight. Marriage was just a stamp of social approval, and they were not going to be sanctioned that anyways. So it hardly mattered. Besides, they had been married for as long as they can remember.

And then, they decided to follow their heart, which was as young as they were not. After all, how old were they? He, only 70, and she, 71!
