What’s in a name?

Okay, so finally thinking for like weeks (hyperbole there! 😉 ) as to what to write in this section of ‘About Me’ and peeping here and there, I’ve managed the following.

Being a Gemini, I think being passionate is something which comes naturally, especially about love. And love is just not the romantic one between two people, but the intimate and the platonic one with parents, siblings and friends. Though not very lucky when it comes down to friends for I have not really been blessed by them, I have always wanted to have at least one of those BFF with whom people post pictures on their social network accounts 😉 . I truly believe in giving my hundred percent to all the people that I love. And when I genuinely love someone (self-praise alert!), let’s just say, they’ll be lucky to have me. *wink wink*

Being a romance buff, I can endlessly gorge myself on the romantic movies and dramas, one of the reasons I so love the Korean dramas (and for which I hate this friend who introduced me to them and hence got me addicted *Enrique’s ‘Addicted’ lyrics playing in my mind*). Being a literature student has only added fuel to this never satiating fire.

Totally filmy by nature, I also love to bake (mind you, I am prettyyyyy good at it. Don’t trust me? I wish you could check the pictures of my cakes on my Facebook account!). I also like to indulge myself in art and craft, another hobby, which I occasionally do to get rid of the boredom.

And finally coming to this blog now, writing has always been on the cards, a latent passion, but I recently found time for this soul-satisfying activity when I happened to take a break from studies after completing my Masters degree. All the stuff that I post here are not just random scribblings but come straight from the heart with the hope that they would touch yours too! The language is straight-forward and simple because it is a reflection of the way I actually am in the real life. I am what I am. You get what you see.
